Our purpose-built facility in West Auckland brings together, under one roof; a motor service company specialised in the overhaul and repair of explosion-proof equipment and a large warehouse and modifications area. This consolidated location allows Marathon Electric New Zealand to offer our clients a one stop experience that has to do with electrical motors & associated products, allowing the business to carry a comprehensive inventory of electric motor-related products for all industries, including timber, dairy, oil and gas, marine, mining and manufacturing.

One of the offerings that make Marathon Electric stand out, is our Auckland workshop: listed on the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) certificate as a manufacturing location for hazardous atmosphere motors, it enables Marathon Electric to take a standard motor and convert it to a hazardous area motor that is certified to operate in an explosive atmosphere. We can customise to a client’s exact requirements, including paint work, within a short period of time.

Our IANZ-accredited service workshop specialises in the servicing of all electromechanical rotating equipment. We offer rewind, modifications, the overhaul and repair of all types and brands of AC & DC motors, generators and preventative maintenance inspection service. Our workshop is equipped with paint booths, for customer specific finishes, we also offer sandblasting and anti-corrosion coatings. All motors, transformers and generators serviced by Marathon Electric are run tested to guarantee that they are suitable for service, we provide a comprehensive 24/7 service to our valued customers New & Old.
